What is Torchbearers?

The Torchbearers ministry was founded by Major W. Ian Thomas in 1947. The work began in Capernwray Hall, an old castle surrounded by forests and farms near Lancaster, England. Presently Torchbearers International operates many Bible and Holiday Centers, which are inter-denominational in nature, for Christian fellowship and training.
