Student Life @ Bible School
Come and meet new friends from around the world! Study the Bible together, enjoy community life, and explore the beautiful country of Japan while making memories that will last a lifetime.
Living in community is a unique feature of Torchbearers Centers.
God calls us to live as one body and one Spirit in Ephesians 4:3-6:
"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all."
Living together for eight weeks as you dive deep into God's Word is a great opportunity to live out God's calling as you build relationships and unity in Christ.
There are many opportunities to fellowship both inside and outside of the Center. Students, teachers, and missions teams within the Center enjoy time together in worship to the King, eating, working, or resting. Sometimes neighbours or others local to the area also stop by to share a meal or visit with us. Off-site, there are opportunities to fellowship with local people in the area.
SPECIAL EVENTS, TRIPS AND TRAVEL WEEKENDS
During free time, many students enjoy exploring the local towns of Yamanakako, Oshino, Gotemba, and Fujiyoshida.
There are opportunities for weekend trips to Tokyo and a week-long missions trip within Japan.
If the weather is right, students and staff have an opportunity to climb the majestic Mount Fuji.
