Craig Cox

Craig was born in rural post-war Japan to missionary parents. He was raised to follow in his parents' footsteps, received the necessary training, and returned to do missions in Japan.
Having a tender heart for spiritual things, he was groomed from the time he was small through seminary to be a second-generation missionary in Japan. However, at age 29, God finally broke through all the programming and good intentions to show Craig that he wasn’t called to be a missionary, but was called AND gifted to be a businessman. Since that turning point 30 years ago, he has been privileged to work for several large corporations including Citigroup and Fujitsu America, Inc. Now president and CEO of FM Partners, Japan, Inc., Craig is passionate about his calling as a successful business leader in Japan, and equally passionate in his burden and voice for the next generation of the Church in Japan.

About the Course
EXCHANGED LIFE BASED EVANGELISM
As a young man, Major Ian Thomas, the founder of Torchbearers International, worked diligently to serve God and to evangelize the lost. He worked tirelessly and by the age of 22 was completely burned out. Major Thomas recounts, “Then, one night in November, that year, just at midnight, I got down on my knees before God, and I just wept in sheer despair. I said, "With all my heart I have wanted to serve Thee. I have tried to my uttermost and I am a hopeless failure." That night things happened. The Lord seemed to make plain to me that night, through my tears of bitterness: "You see, for seven years, with utmost sincerity, you have been trying to live for Me, on My behalf, the life that I have been waiting for seven years to live through you."' What Major Thomas discovered that night became the central truth around the ministry that he built and the life he lived.
In this course we will examine the dynamics of the exchanged life (“The life of Christ in and through me” Gal 2:20) and understand Christ’s design for evangelism.
