Julian Erb

Julian was born and raised in small town Seven Persons, Alberta, Canada and is the son of a famous sausage maker. After graduating from high school, he attended Capernwray New Zealand. It was during his time at Capernrway that he was transformed by Jesus Christ. After Capernwray, he attended Moody Bible Institute and studied the Bible in Spokane and Chicago. He currently serves as an Assistant Pastor at Bow Island Evangelical Free Church.
One of his favorite passages is the last verse in the Gospel of John written by Jesus' closest disciple, "Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I supposed that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written."
Julian desires to know Christ and to make Him known.

About the Courses
Hermeneutics (Bible Study Methods):
There are many Christians and churches all over the world who study the Bible because it is God's word to them. If Christians all study the same Bible why do so many people come up with different conclusions of what it says? How should people study the Bible? Are there any practical principles and tools people can use to study the scriptures? This class will seek to answer these questions and give practical tools and wisdom on how to interpret and apply God's living word.
The Sermon on the Mount:
The Sermon on the Mount is arguably the most well known teaching of Jesus for His disciples. The question today is whether or not His disciples are walking in obedience to His teaching. The sermon covers what life in the Kingdom of God is like for His people. It covers many different topics such as murder, lust, anger, prayer and passing judgement. In the famous sermon, Jesus gets right to the heart of issues and desires His disciples to be obedient to His Kingdom teaching. You will discover that Jesus' Kingdom way is upside down from what our surrounding culture would tell us.
