Scott Countryman

Pastor Scott serves as a Senior Training Consultant with Global Training Network (GTN). His ministry focus is to equip, encourage, and empower pastors and Christian leaders in the majority world.
Pastor Scott has over 30 years of ministry experience. Before joining GTN, he served as Principal of the Torchbearer Bible School Bodenseehof in Germany, was the Pastor of Global Outreach at Berean Baptist Church in Burnsville, MN, and served two years as Regional Director for Europe and North Africa for Converge Worldwide (BGC).
Pastor Scott received his M.Div. in the School of World Mission and Evangelism at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL and is pursuing a doctoral degree in Global and Contextual Leadership at Bethel University.
Scott and his wife, Lisa, were married in 1985, have three adult daughters, and are proud grandparents.

Covering several key themes of the Gospel including The Kingdom of God, the "Messianic Secret" (i.e. Jesus as the Son of Man), miracles and power-encounter, discipleship and failure, and service and sacrifice.
