Stephan is a French speaking Canadian from Montreal who was travelling around the world as a young man when God tapped him on the shoulder. In 1992 he thought going to Bible school overseas was just going to be one more adventure and it turned out to be just that. Except not the kind of adventure he had in mind! It became a defining moment. He received God's gift of salvation from the Lord.
Stephan is a carpenter by trade but has done a variety of things for a living including prison officer, tour guide, English teacher, conference coordinator and library-café owner just to name a few. He has a diploma of theology from Mueller College in Australia. He has lived in Canada, the U.K. and Australia and has served as an elder in his home church in Rawdon, Canada before being a missionary with his family in Cambodia where their current home is.
He met his wife, Sharelle while at Bible school in England and they were married in 1998. They are blessed to see their two daughters, Jordyn (20) and Darcy (18) as well as their son, Yannick (14) growing in the Lord and being transformed.

About the course
Romans
There is much more to being a believer than being saved. Although salvation is the greatest gift one can possibly receive and the most pivotal point during life on earth it seems like too many people either neglect or simply aren't aware of so much more that come with it. There's also reality. What has God revealed IS reality, not what the world says it is. Romans answers the most gripping and soul rattling questions the human mind has. The apostle Paul addresses the one problem mankind has (being lost and hopeless in sin) and the only solution on offer (Salvation by grace through faith). There is also practical day to day insights as to how we ought to live out the reality of being a believer. Trusting is not the end but just the beginning. I hope that through this ancient but ever so relevant letter God will challenge you. He certainly has done so to me.
